An amazing novel with all negative emotions one can imagine
to live with. The main character Heathcliffe is origin of every bad thing that
Emile Bronte could come up with and Catherine is the desire that keeps his
madness continued throughout the book. It is hard to assimilate how a man can
control the rest of the lives of two families after he meets them. Heathcliffe
is a pure demonstration of a dictator with complicated blend of intelligence
and notoriety. Well, the novel is a
successful approach to express all the passions of madness and love that two
persons can engage in. The characters
are carefully chosen to represent every emotion and all the incidents add up to
the development of the story. I liked reading this novel.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Again, a great novel by Charles Dickens portraying the life
an orphan child Pip who goes through a chain of events that keeps him occupied
with all the sentimental and emotional ups and downs that comes with the
fortune that he received from an unknown benefactor. The best thing about the
novel is the development of the story and disclosure at the climax about the
benefactor. The ending is not a happy one but not as tragic as in “A Tale of
Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. Also,
unlike “A Tale…..” this one has got a good sense of humor which actually keeps
your mind engaged and prevents the possibility of you getting depressed again
with Charles Dickens characters. I find the novel worth suggesting to readers.
